Overview[]
Jace is a character from Nano-control that moves to Little Eden to live with her grandfather.
Appearance[]
Jace is a young lady in her teens. She typically wears an outfit that looks like uniform of sorts, with a loosened tie, a mini-skirt and a choker. Her outfit remains largely the same even after being sufficiently corrupted, with the difference being it is now semi-transparent.
She has short red hair and her fringe is long on one side, and has reddish pink eyes. However, it was implied that the colour of her eyes and hair are the results of dying it and contact lenses as it was seen in her flashback that her sprite has different coloured hair and eyes. She is slightly shorter than Kay and has B cup breasts.
Personality[]
Pre-indoctrination[]
Jace appears to be an anti-social lady that prefers to be alone, as seen from her telling her classmates to leave her alone and that "she doesn't plan to get all buddy-buddy" with them. She can often be seen alone, and would tell the player to "get lost" or that she's "Not interested" if he attempts to talk to her. She is also seen to be a coarse lady, being the only individual to curse and swear regularly in the game.
However, it was shown in her flashbacks that she wasn't always this way. She used to be a well mannered and friendly young girl when she was younger, however after realising most of her classmates are only friends with her due to her father's connections, she started to become more distant and got involved with hooligans.
Despite her history and shortcomings, she is shown to be caring and kind. As seen with her standing up for Kay in one of the comics, helping her pay for items after knowing of Kay's circumstances, as well as her playing with Sarah and asking about her.
Post-indoctrination[]
Even after getting sufficiently corrupted by the player, her personality remains largely the same, perhaps due to her personality and past experiences. She still swears often, but is seen to be more tolerant, and to some extent, affectionate, towards the player. She appears to be the least affected by the serum. In her mind, the player can choose to break her, reducing her to a silent husk, only able to obey the player's commands.
Relationships[]
Main Character/ Sean[]
In the beginning of the game, she would keep her distance from the player, often telling him to leave her alone. However, over the course of the game, she grows closer to the player and would, though claiming to be annoyed, be more willing to talk to the player as well as other actions.
Kay[]
Kay, like the main character, seems to be the first friend that Jace makes in Little Eden. She initially has reservations of getting close to Kay, however after Kay's constant attempts of talking to her, the two became friends. As the events of the game progressed, it is shown that Jace seems to care for Kay, agreeing to go shopping with her as well as baking together, where she would pay for the ingredients as she was aware of Kay's finiancial situation. She still calls Kay "that bimbo" when referring to her, possibly an attempt to hide her attachment towards her.
Rika[]
Jace seems to be fond of Rika, with them exchanging looks of approval during their first meeting despite not having said a word. In subsequent meetings, they could be seen talking and Rika would tease Jace and "allow her to share the player". This fondness could be due to their similar personalities.
